Who we are

The services described on this website are provided by ⁨Guangzhou Alshumul Trade Consulting Co., Ltd.⁩, a company registered in Guangzhou, China, under Unified Social Credit Code ⁨91440106MAKJR3AP46⁩, with its address at ⁨Unit N14, 904, No. 179 Tianhe North Road, Tianhe District, Guangzhou 510620, Guangdong, China⁩. These terms apply to anyone who requests our services or uses our website, alshumul.com.

What is the scope of our services?

We serve importers who buy from Chinese factories. Our services include:

• Sourcing suppliers and factories, comparing their offers and requesting samples.
• Desk verification and on-site audits of factories.
• Quality control during production, product inspection and pre-shipment inspection.
• Arranging shipping from China to any country through shipping companies.
• Designing websites, online stores and apps, and digital marketing.

Each service is independent and can be requested on its own. Its scope is set out in the offer we confirm to you in writing for each request.

What do our services not include?

• We are not the factory or the seller, and we do not own the goods we inspect or arrange to ship.
• We have no warehouse and do not consolidate goods ourselves. We arrange part-load (LCL) shipping through other companies that consolidate cargo.
• We do not handle customs clearance or import permits in the destination country. These are the responsibility of the importer and their customs broker.
• We do not provide legal or banking advice.

How do you request a service, and how is the offer confirmed?

Sending a form or a message through the website is a request to get in touch, not a contract. We review your request, then confirm to you in writing the scope of the service and its final price before work begins. For prices published on the website, including factory audit prices, the final price is confirmed after each request is reviewed.

Fees and payment

• We charge our service fees and commissions only to the party that requests the service, which is usually the importer. In that case, we take no fees or commissions from factories or suppliers.
• Payment is made only to a bank account in the company’s name: the Chinese name for payments from inside China and the approved English name for payments from outside China. We do not ask for payment to any personal account. Details are on the Official Payment Information page.
• Payment dates and the payment method are set out in the confirmed offer for each request. The cancellation terms for a factory audit request are set out in the next section.
• Third-party costs, such as freight charges, insurance and the price of samples, are shown in the offer.

What are the cancellation terms for a factory audit request?

• Cancellation 3 or more days before the audit date: the amount paid is refunded in full.
• Cancellation within the 3 days before the audit date: 20% of the amount paid is deducted and the rest is refunded.
• Cancellation is not possible on or after the audit day, and the amount is not refunded.

What are the client’s obligations?

• Providing accurate and complete information about the product, its specifications and quantities, and the factory’s details.
• Making sure the goods may be imported into their country and meet its requirements, and obtaining the certificates and permits needed there.
• Reviewing reports and samples, and making the decision to buy or to accept the shipment.
• Dealing with us through the official contact channels published on this website.

What do inspection and audit reports mean?

• Reports are written in English and describe what was seen or verified at the time of the inspection and within its agreed scope.
• Batch inspection is based on random samples, so it does not guarantee that every item is free of defects.
• Desk verification relies on documents and is not a substitute for an on-site audit.
• The choice of factory and the decision to accept or reject the shipment rest with the client.
• A report is for the client’s use in assessing their supplier. It is not a guarantee of the factory’s performance or an official certificate.

Shipping

We arrange shipping through shipping companies and consolidators, and each shipment is subject to the carrier’s terms. Sailing and arrival dates are set by the carrier and may change. Insurance is arranged up to the port of arrival when agreed, and the importer then handles customs clearance and takes delivery in their country.

Limits of liability

• We are not liable for the actions of factories, suppliers or shipping companies, for the decisions of customs and official authorities, or for delays resulting from them.
• We are not liable for circumstances beyond our control, such as disasters, closures, strikes and port disruptions.
• To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any service does not exceed the fees the client paid us for that service.

Confidentiality and data protection

We keep our clients’ data and documents confidential and share them only as far as needed to carry out the requested service, or when the law requires us to. The Privacy Policy page explains how we collect and use data.

The content of this website, including texts, guides and designs, belongs to ALSHUMUL Commercial Services unless stated otherwise. It is provided for general information and is not a substitute for checking the official requirements in your country before importing.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date of the latest update appears at the top of the page. Each request is governed by the terms published at the time it is confirmed, together with anything agreed in writing in its offer.
